Focal Just Dropped a New Speaker Line — And They Didn’t Tell Anyone

Focal has quietly launched a new speaker line called Omada, and it's already showing up at major retailers without much fanfare.

Focal quietly rolled out a new speaker line called Omada, but unless you shop with an authorized ProSource dealer, you won’t find these speakers on the usual shelves. The Omada series, which became available in November 2025, is a ProSource-exclusive line aimed at filling the space between Focal’s entry-level and mid-tier offerings—both in price and performance.

The launch flew under the radar. No global announcement. No spotlight on Focal’s international website. Just a quiet debut on the Focal Naim America site and a handful of retailer pages. But this isn’t just another speaker drop—it marks a meaningful milestone in the eight-year partnership between Focal Naim America and the ProSource buying group, where exclusive Focal products have been in the works for some time.

The Omada series lands between Focal’s Theva and Vestia speaker lines—price-wise and feature-wise. It’s a new middle ground for folks who want to level up from entry-level without going all the way into high-end territory.

Focal Omada speaker lineup: Omada Center Channel Speaker, Omada N1 Bookshelf Speakers, Omada N3 Floorstanding Speakers, Omada N4 Floorstanding Speakers.

There are four models in the family:

The N1 and Center are two-way speakers with bass reflex ports. The N3 and N4 are larger three-way floorstanders. The N4 uses two larger woofers, which should help with deeper bass, while the N3 gets three smaller woofers for a different flavor of low-end response.

For accessories, the Theva stand is recommended for both the Center ($169) and Bookshelf speakers ($269/pair).

Design-wise, they all come in high-gloss black with a subtly curved front baffle and a leather-like texture on the front. It’s a look that feels modern and clean without being flashy.

Focal didn’t start from scratch with Omada. Instead, they pulled some of the core tech from their more expensive lines and brought it into this new range.

At the top of each speaker is a TAM tweeter, which uses an M-shaped dome made from an aluminum/magnesium blend. Originally developed for Focal’s car audio gear, this tweeter has made its way into several of the brand’s home speakers and is known for its controlled high-frequency performance and wide sound dispersion.

For the midrange and bass, you’ll find Slatefiber cones. These are made from recycled carbon fibers and have been used in models like the Chora and Alpha Evo studio monitors. Slatefiber is known for striking a balance between rigidity and damping—two key ingredients for clean, accurate sound.

Together, these components give the Omada series a strong foundation. It’s the same general recipe Focal has been using in other popular lines, just packaged differently here.

The Omada series seems designed for two kinds of listeners:

  1. People putting together a dedicated hi-fi system
  2. People building out a home theater setup

The Center speaker rounds out the front stage for surround sound setups, while the N1 bookshelf speakers could serve as either main or rear speakers depending on the room. The N3 and N4 floorstanders bring more scale and bass, ideal for larger spaces or more immersive listening.

The speakers are front-ported (except for the Center, which has rear ports), so placement should be relatively flexible—even if they’re close to a wall. That said, their sensitivity and impedance ratings suggest they’ll want a decent amp or AV receiver to shine—nothing exotic, but probably not your old hand-me-down stereo either.

Focal typically makes some noise when they release a new line. But this time, Omada slipped into the North American market without a full press campaign—possibly because of its exclusive nature or as part of a targeted holiday-season rollout. Given that the line is tied to ProSource dealers, the low-key strategy may have been intentional, focusing outreach on a specific buying group rather than a global audience.

This launch also seems to be the result of years of behind-the-scenes collaboration. According to Focal Naim America, conversations around exclusive ProSource models have been happening for nearly a decade, and Omada is the first full speaker line to come out of that long-term partnership.

But even with the soft launch, the Omada series is stepping into a very crowded field. Competitors like KEF’s Q Meta and Bowers & Wilkins’ 600 S3 offer solid performance in the same price bracket. That means Omada isn’t alone, and it’ll have to earn its spot on spec sheets and in listening rooms.

So, where can you (and can't) buy them? This part is key:

  • Only ProSource members in the U.S. can sell the Omada line.
  • It won’t show up on focal.com or on international distributor pages.
  • Focal Naim America’s website is the only official listing.
  • The only online retailers currently authorized are ProSource members like Crutchfield, and they're also available at Amazon.

That means if you’re outside the U.S., you’re out of luck for now. And even within the U.S., availability is limited to specific dealers that are part of this buying group.

Focal didn’t just drop a new speaker line—they partnered with one of the largest A/V dealer networks in the U.S. to create something unique for its members. The Omada series fills an important price and performance gap, but it also represents a rare example of a manufacturer and dealer group co-creating a product line for a specific region.

If you’ve been wondering why no one’s talking about Omada—or why it’s not showing up on Focal’s global site—now you know. It’s not an oversight. It’s a U.S. exclusive, built for a very specific audience, and it’s already available if you know where to look.
