Devialet has introduced a Roland-Garros Exclusive Edition of its Phantom Ultimate wireless speaker, giving one of its most recognizable audio products a tennis-inspired redesign tied to the French Open.
This is still the Phantom Ultimate at its core, so the big story here is not a new speaker platform or a major hardware change. Instead, Devialet is using the Roland-Garros edition to give its high-end wireless speaker a limited-run design that leans heavily into the look and feel of the famous clay-court tournament.
The special-edition speaker launched ahead of the 2026 Roland-Garros tournament, which runs from May 18 through June 7. Devialet says the model will be produced in limited numbers, with only a few hundred units available worldwide. That immediately puts this version in a different category from the standard Phantom Ultimate. It is aimed less at someone simply shopping for a wireless speaker and more at someone who likes Devialet’s design language, follows tennis, or wants a more collectible version of the Phantom.

The design changes are pretty easy to spot. The Roland-Garros edition uses Clay Red accents inspired by the tournament’s clay courts, along with white detailing that references the lines of Court Philippe-Chatrier. Devialet says the side panels were designed to suggest the reflection of the court on the Coupe des Mousquetaires, the trophy awarded to the men’s singles champion.
The white lines are laser-engraved and finished with several coats of high-gloss lacquer, while the Roland-Garros logo is applied to the top of the speaker. It is a very specific look, and that is probably the point. The standard Phantom Ultimate already stands out with its rounded enclosure and side-firing woofers, so this version adds another layer of visual identity rather than trying to blend into a room.
There are two Roland-Garros models in the lineup:

The 108 dB version is the one to look at for larger rooms or listeners who want more output and deeper bass. The 98 dB model is easier to place, less expensive, and probably the more practical fit for bedrooms, offices, smaller living rooms, or spaces where the bigger Phantom might be overkill.
Connectivity is the same kind of all-in-one setup you get with the standard Phantom Ultimate range. There's support for AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, UPnP, Roon Ready, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi. That gives the speaker a lot of flexibility, whether you stream from a phone, use a music service directly, or run a more serious networked audio setup at home.
The speaker also runs on Devialet’s DOS3 software platform and works with the Devialet app. Through the app, users can access a six-band equalizer, Bass Reducer, Loudness control, and listening modes for music, movies, and podcasts. Those controls matter because a speaker like this may be used in very different rooms, from open living spaces to smaller apartments where bass can get out of hand quickly.

Devialet’s usual audio processing is included here as well. ADH, short for Analog Digital Hybrid, is the company’s amplification system that combines elements of analog amplification with Class D efficiency. SAM, or Speaker Active Matching, is designed to help the drivers stay controlled by matching the signal to the speaker’s behavior. HBI, or Heart Bass Implosion, handles the bass system, while AVL, or Adaptive Volume Level, is meant to keep playback more consistent across different types of content.
For buyers, the price difference is where things get more interesting. The Roland-Garros versions cost more than the regular Phantom Ultimate models, but the extra money is mainly for the limited-edition finish and tournament branding, not a new set of internal upgrades.
Here is how pricing breaks down:
That means the Roland-Garros 108 dB model carries a $400 premium over the standard 108 dB Phantom Ultimate, while the 98 dB Roland-Garros model costs $200 more than the standard 98 dB version.
Availability is also more limited. Devialet says the Roland-Garros editions will be sold through select Devialet stores, Devialet’s website, the Roland-Garros Megastore, and the official Roland-Garros online boutique.
The key takeaway is simple: this is a design-focused limited edition, not a major technical refresh. For someone who just wants the Phantom Ultimate experience at the lowest available price, the standard models make more sense. For someone who likes Devialet’s bold speaker design and wants a version connected to Roland-Garros, this edition adds a more collectible angle without changing the basic speaker formula.
