Noble Audio has officially pulled back the curtain on its latest true wireless earbuds — the FoKus Amadeus. Inspired by none other than Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, these earbuds mix old-school classical flair with modern tech. Preorders are now live, and full availability kicks off on June 18, 2025.
Let’s start with the most obvious thing: the color. These earbuds come in a deep, glossy red that stands out from the sea of black, white, and beige options on the market. The look isn’t just for show — it’s actually a nod to Mozart’s iconic red tailcoat, a detail often seen in portraits of the composer. Noble’s clearly leaning into the idea of music history meeting modern audio gear.
But the Amadeus isn’t just a fashion statement. It’s built with sound quality and flexibility in mind, packing tech that aims to appeal to both audiophiles and casual listeners alike.
Inside the Amadeus is a custom-designed 8.3mm dynamic driver with a triple-layer diaphragm. What that means in plain English: it’s been built to deliver a rich low end, open mids, and smooth treble, without sounding too sharp or “clinical.”
Plenty of earbuds these days boost bass or crank up the highs to catch your attention. The Amadeus takes a more measured approach. The goal here seems to be balance — giving your music space to breathe while keeping enough warmth and energy to make it engaging, whether you're critically listening or just zoning out with a playlist on your commute.
One of the key features on these earbuds is Audiodo Personal Sound. It’s a software-based system that creates a custom sound profile based on how you hear. After a short hearing test, the earbuds get tuned specifically for your ears, and the profile is saved directly to the earbuds themselves.
That means you don’t have to mess with an app every time you pair to a new device. And for people who might have slight differences in hearing between their ears (which is more common than you might think), this feature could help bring out more clarity in the music.
Noble’s gone with Qualcomm’s QCC3091 chipset and the latest Bluetooth 5.4, so you’re getting up-to-date wireless performance. Supported audio codecs include LDAC, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC, so you can get higher-quality sound from compatible devices.
Other useful features include Multipoint pairing, so you can stay connected to two devices at once, and TrueWireless Mirroring, which helps with connection stability and battery management. Touch controls on each earbud handle playback and calls, while dual microphones with Qualcomm’s cVc noise canceling tech are included to help with voice clarity during calls or meetings.
Battery performance is pretty solid. You get up to 12 hours of playback with noise canceling turned off, or around 8 hours with ANC on. The charging case holds an extra 2.5 charges, bringing total battery life to about 42 hours.
Charging is flexible too. The case supports both USB-C and Qi wireless charging, and a quick 10-minute top-up gives you around two hours of playback — handy if you're rushing out the door.
The Noble FoKus Amadeus sits in the premium category with a price of $320 / £299 / €349. That puts it a bit above popular models like Sony’s WF-1000XM5, but cheaper than Bowers & Wilkins’ Pi8.
Preorders opened on June 11, with shipping starting June 18. You’ll be able to grab them from Noble Audio’s website and select global retailers.
The FoKus Amadeus brings something a little different to the wireless earbud market. It’s not just about how they look, though the red design is definitely eye-catching, but how they aim to personalize sound and deliver a more open, balanced listening experience. Whether that combination hits the right note for listeners will come down to preferences, but Noble is clearly hoping to win over people who care about both design and detail.
