At CES 2026, Edifier showed off a lineup that feels especially in tune with how people actually use speakers today. Whether you're listening from a desk, gaming in the living room, or juggling work calls and playlists in a shared space, Edifier’s new gear is built to work across different parts of your life without making you buy something new for each setup.
The star of the show was the new M90 active speaker—a follow-up to the more desktop-focused M60 (199.99 at Amazon). But Edifier also brought along updated studio monitors, creator-friendly desktop speakers, and a few smart upgrades that make their latest lineup feel a bit more seamless.

The M90 is Edifier’s answer to the question: “Why do I need separate speakers for every room?” It’s built to handle everything from workday video calls to weekend movie marathons, and it’s designed to fit just as easily next to a monitor as under a TV.
Inside, it packs a two-way speaker system with a 4-inch long-throw mid-low driver and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter. It delivers 100 watts of power and can hit up to 100 decibels, which is more than enough for most home setups.

On the sound side, the M90 uses bi-amped DSP that supports 24-bit/96kHz audio, helping it adapt whether you’re watching a movie, gaming, or listening to lossless tracks. It’s not pretending to replace a full home theater, but it’s definitely more than a basic desktop speaker.
What really sets it apart is the connectivity. There’s Line-in, Optical, USB-C, and HDMI eARC, plus Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC support. You can hook up a laptop, a game console, a streaming box, or even just pair it with your phone. It also supports Bluetooth multipoint, so switching between devices doesn’t turn into a hassle.

You’ll find physical controls on the speaker itself, a remote control for couch-friendly use, and support for Edifier’s ConneX app if you want to manage things from your phone. In short, you’re not locked into one kind of listening.
The M90 is expected to launch in early March 2026 at $369 on Amazon.
If you’re working from home or dabbling in content creation, Edifier’s MR Series might be more your speed. These near-field monitors are made for compact workspaces and prioritize accurate, reliable sound—without needing a full studio.

The MR3 ($149.99 at Amazon) is the smaller model, great for desks and smaller setups. The MR5 ($349.99 at Amazon) adds a built-in woofer and a side-mounted acoustic lens to give you deeper bass in a relatively small box.
Both models use DSP, bi-amp or tri-amp amplification, and room compensation features to keep things sounding clean, even when you’re not sitting in the “perfect” spot. Both also picked up Japan’s VGP 2025 Design Award, which highlights products that balance performance and thoughtful design.

For something a bit more advanced, Edifier also introduced the XR6. It sits between near-field and larger studio monitors and comes with auto-calibration software that adjusts the speaker’s performance based on your room layout. It’s a handy option if you don’t want to spend time manually tuning your setup.
As more desks are doubling as creator spaces, gaming stations, and remote offices, Edifier’s QR65 ($499.99 at Amazon) and QR30 ($169.99 at Amazon) aim to cover all those bases.

These speakers combine hi-fi-grade sound with a more laid-back take on RGB lighting. Instead of flashy rainbow effects, Edifier uses an Infinity Mirror design to add subtle ambient light that fits into clean, minimalist setups.
The QR65 delivers 70W RMS with a two-way driver system and bi-amped DSP, plus a maze-style bass-reflex port for tighter bass. It even has a built-in GaN fast charger, which helps simplify cable mess on already cluttered desks.
Another change worth noting: Edifier is adding HDMI eARC to more than just its soundbars. This high-bandwidth connection—normally found on AV receivers—is now available on the M90, R2750MKII, and S355DB.
Why does that matter? HDMI eARC makes it easier to connect these speakers directly to modern TVs and streaming devices while still getting full-quality audio. If you’ve been using a pair of desktop speakers in your living room, this is a welcome upgrade.
Edifier’s CES 2026 lineup isn’t trying to reinvent how we listen—it’s trying to simplify it. Whether you’re a casual listener, a remote worker, or a gamer, these speakers are built to work across different setups without forcing you to start from scratch every time.
The M90 is at the center of this approach. It’s not just a new speaker—it’s Edifier’s way of saying you don’t have to choose between great sound and flexibility anymore.
