Valerion, the projector brand that made waves on Kickstarter, is finally landing in the UK. Starting June 12, you’ll be able to pick up one of its feature-packed laser projectors from Richer Sounds or Peter Tyson, with more retailers coming on board in July.

If the name Valerion rings a bell, it’s probably because the brand raised over $10.9 million through crowdfunding—more than any other projector company has ever done. That global momentum is now carrying over into UK living rooms, starting with the flagship model, the VisionMaster Pro 2, and a full supporting lineup for different setups and budgets.

At the heart of the launch is the VisionMaster Pro 2, a 4K laser projector that’s trying to pack high-end features into a more accessible package. Priced at £2,599, it’s aiming to do a lot without hitting the sky-high prices of many premium home cinema projectors.

Valerion VisionMaster Pro2 Triple Laser Projector 4K

Here’s what it offers:

  • True 4K UHD resolution
  • RGB triple-laser projection for improved brightness and color
  • 3,000 ISO lumens, so you don’t have to sit in the dark
  • 110% Rec.2020 color coverage (for those who care about color accuracy)
  • Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode support
  • Google TV built-in, with access to apps, Chromecast, and AirPlay 2
  • Voice control support via Google Assistant and Alexa
  • Fast gaming performance with 4ms input lag at 1080p/240Hz

It also handles the setup side of things nicely, with auto-focus, auto-keystone correction, and the ability to dodge obstacles like furniture when projecting. Whether you're watching movies or gaming on a PS5, it’s built to adapt without needing a degree in AV calibration.

The Pro 2 is also relatively compact and designed for short-throw use, which means you can get a large screen size (up to 100 inches) even in a tight space, useful for folks who don’t have a dedicated theater room. The VisionMaster Pro 2 is available in the U.S. for $2,999.99.

Valerion isn’t putting all its eggs in one basket. Alongside the flagship, it’s also launching three other models in the UK to suit different spaces and price ranges:

  • VisionMaster Max (£4,349): The highest-end option, with 3,500 lumens of brightness and a pro-grade lens system. Ideal if you want a serious home theater setup.
  • VisionMaster Pro (£2,299): The Pro 2’s slightly less bright sibling. Same resolution and smart features, just tuned for darker rooms where light control is easier. It costs $2,799 in the U.S.
  • StreamMaster Plus 2 (£1,899): The most affordable of the bunch, but still uses RGB triple-laser tech and 4K resolution. Great for casual movie nights or flexible spaces. Available in the U.S. for $1,999.

All four models run Google TV, meaning they’ve got apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube out of the box. They also support AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Bluetooth audio, so you can easily connect speakers or cast content from your phone or tablet.

At launch, Valerion’s projectors will be available exclusively through Richer Sounds and Peter Tyson, two trusted names in UK AV retail. That means you can see the projectors in person at Richer Sounds’ stores or get next-day delivery straight to your door.

Some extras you’ll get by shopping through these retailers:

  • Free 6-year guarantee
  • Free delivery options
  • UK-based customer service and support
  • In-store demos and expert advice
  • Finance plans and flexible payment options

Valerion’s story started with a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign and a global community of early adopters. Now, it’s moving into full retail mode, with the UK as one of its first major markets outside that crowdfunding bubble.

This launch is being handled by KS Distribution, which says this is just the beginning. After the initial rollout with Richer Sounds and Peter Tyson, expect to see Valerion’s products in more retail stores and online platforms throughout the summer.
