Skullcandy just dropped a new pair of true wireless earbuds called the Method 360 ANC, and they come with a bit of a twist—Bose helped out. That’s right, the new buds feature sound tuning and fit tech licensed from Bose, but without the usual high price tag. They’re currently available at an introductory price of $99.99 on Amazon.

Skullcandy teaming up with Bose might not be the collab you saw coming, but that’s what makes this launch interesting. These aren’t full-blown Bose earbuds, but Skullcandy has licensed some of Bose’s audio and design tech to give the Method 360 ANC a noticeable upgrade in sound quality and comfort.

That means you’re getting earbuds with a fit that’s designed to stay secure and block out noise—thanks to three sizes of ear gels and fit fins—plus audio performance that’s been tuned with Bose’s input. It’s an unusual combo, especially in this price range.

Another thing that stands out is the case. Instead of the typical flip-top clamshell design, the Method 360 ANC uses a slider-style case with an O-ring clip, so you can attach it to your bag or belt loop. It’s similar to what Skullcandy did with their Dime Evo model. The case is a bit bulky, but the tradeoff is longer battery life.

Here’s what you get:

  • Up to 40 hours of total battery life with ANC turned off (11 hours from the earbuds, 29 from the case)
  • Up to 32 hours with ANC turned on (9 from the buds, 23 from the case)
  • Rapid charge support: 10 minutes of charging gets you about 2 hours of playback

The Method 360 ANC earbuds feature a 4-mic hybrid active noise canceling system, which lets you adjust how much of the outside world you want to block out. There’s also a Stay-Aware mode that lets in ambient noise when you need to hear what’s going on around you—useful for walking through the city or waiting for your flight to be called.

Some other handy features include:

  • Low latency mode for syncing audio with video and games
  • Wear detection that pauses playback when you take the earbuds out
  • Multipoint pairing, so you can switch between devices without disconnecting and reconnecting
  • IPX4 water resistance, meaning they’ll hold up fine during a sweaty workout or a drizzle
  • Spotify Tap and Google Fast Pair support
  • Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio for a more future-ready connection
  • Voice sidetone, so you can hear yourself clearly during calls
  • Clear Voice Smart Mic, which cuts out background noise for better call quality

All of this is customizable through the Skull-iQ app, where you can adjust EQ settings, remap touch controls, and fine-tune ANC or Stay-Aware levels.

Despite the name, there’s no spatial audio here. If you saw “360” and assumed surround sound or head-tracked audio, that’s not part of the package—at least not yet. It could be something Skullcandy saves for a future version, but for now, the focus is on fit, ANC, and battery life.

Skullcandy Method 360 ANC Wireless Earbuds in five different colors: Plasma, Primer, Black, Bone, Leopard.

The Method 360 ANC comes in five bold color options: Black, Bone, Primer, Plasma, and Leopard. Whether you’re into low-key neutrals or you like your earbuds to stand out, there’s probably a version that fits your vibe.

Skullcandy’s Method 360 ANC earbuds are clearly aimed at people who want solid features—like ANC, long battery life, and customizable settings—without spending $200 or more. They may not have every feature under the sun (no spatial audio, no tracking support), but for the price, they check a lot of boxes.

They’re available now on Amazon and through Skullcandy’s website, with the $99.99 launch price making them one of the more affordable options in the ANC earbud category—especially considering the Bose connection.
