Marshall’s First Party Speaker Has Wheels, Stage Lights, and Enough Power to Shake Your House

The Bromley 750 isn’t your average Bluetooth speaker—it’s Marshall’s 52-pound, 500-watt entry into the party scene.

Marshall, the British audio brand best known for its guitar amps, is moving into new territory with its first-ever party speaker, the Bromley 750. Instead of being made for stage rigs or smaller Bluetooth models, this one’s built for house parties, outdoor gatherings, and even small performances.

For decades, Marshall has been tied to concerts and rehearsal spaces, but recently the company has been branching out. Earlier this year it launched its first soundbar, and now it’s stepping into the party speaker scene with the Bromley 750. The idea is to offer something portable and versatile, capable of blasting music at a barbecue just as easily as backing a jam session.

“When we first considered entering the party speaker category, we saw an opportunity to bring something different to a uniform market. By staying true to our identity and what we are great at—prioritizing iconic design and superior acoustics—we’ve created a standout product that brings something fresh to an otherwise homogenous category,” says Hanna Wallner, Marshall’s product manager.

Inside the Bromley 750 is some serious hardware. It pushes out 500 watts of power through two 10-inch woofers, two mid-range drivers, and four tweeters. That setup covers everything from deep bass to sharp treble, with a frequency range running from 30Hz to 20kHz.

To make the most of all that hardware, Marshall added a sound character dial with two modes:

  • Dynamic mode for a more balanced sound indoors.
  • Loud mode for when you need extra punch in bigger or outdoor spaces.

The speaker also uses Marshall’s 360° True Stereophonic sound, which spreads audio evenly in every direction so you don’t have to stand right in front of it to get the full effect.

Battery life is one of the Bromley 750’s headline features. It offers up to 40 hours of playtime, and if you’re running low, you can swap in a spare battery. That battery can also act as a power bank to charge your phone or other gadgets. Plugging it into AC power keeps the music going while recharging the battery at the same time.

This isn’t a small speaker, though. At around 23.9 kg (52 pounds), it’s heavier than most portable Bluetooth models. To make it manageable, Marshall added built-in wheels, carry handles, and a pull-out handle, much like a suitcase.

“We designed Bromley 750 to be something you want to keep out and show off—a speaker that becomes part of your home and interior. The design is rooted in our heritage, with ‘party’ at its core. It’s bold and straightforward, with every material chosen for a reason—to both look good and withstand countless parties to come. Inspired by stage lighting, we’ve incorporated lights in a new way, enhancing the atmosphere and elevating the entire experience,” says Ella Renneus, senior manager of design at the Marshall Group.

Plenty of party speakers go over the top with colorful light shows. The Bromley 750 takes a subtler approach. It hides a grid of LEDs behind the front grille, which react to whatever’s playing. There are three lighting modes, ranging from mellow ambient effects to more animated presets that sync with the beat.

The rest of the design sticks to Marshall tradition: leather-like cabinet wrap, a brushed metal control panel, and a metal grille. Alongside its looks, the Bromley 750 has an IP54 rating, which means it’s resistant to dust and splashes—handy if you’re taking it outside or into a crowded room.

While Bluetooth 5.3 streaming is included, the Bromley 750 also has plenty of physical inputs:

  • Two combo mic/instrument jacks
  • A 3.5mm aux input
  • RCA inputs for devices like turntables
  • A USB-C port for digital audio

It also supports Auracast, a newer Bluetooth feature that lets you link it with other compatible speakers or players for multi-speaker setups.
