Focal Naim America is back with the latest entry in its ongoing playlist series—and if you’re into music production, hi-fi listening, or just discovering new artists, this one’s worth checking out. The new “Mixed on Focal #7” playlist is out now, featuring 30 tracks that were all mixed using Focal’s professional studio monitors.

You can stream it right now via the Focal Pro Experience website, and it’s also up on all the big platforms: Apple Music, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Tidal, and even Spotify’s new CD-quality tier.

So what exactly is this playlist about? It’s a showcase of music mixed by a wide range of engineers, all using various Focal studio monitors like the Trio11, Trio6, Twin6, Shape 40, and Alpha Twin Evo. Engineers on this volume include Will Yip, Bobby Campbell, Darrell Thorp, Luca Pretolesi, Mike Pepe, and many more.

Some, like Keith Harris, brought in a full team for a collaborative set called the "Keith Harris Experience," co-mixing with Dylan Dresdow, John D. Norten, and Kevin Abdella. Others contributed solo mixes that reflect their personal touch and studio setups.

Whether you’re an audio professional or just curious what your favorite songs might sound like on high-end monitors, this playlist gives you a peek into the production side of things—without being overly technical.

Musically, there’s a bit of everything. You'll find names you might recognize—like Estelle, Fletcher, and Juicy J—alongside up-and-coming or independent acts like Rosie Mac, Origami Angel, Hannah Duckworth, and Orca The Band.

Other featured artists include David Archuleta, Senses, Goapele, Mela Lee, and Free Nationals with Anderson .Paak. There’s even a track from Seven Lions featuring Lilly Ahlberg, and a jazz contribution from pianist Jason Miles.

It’s not just one genre or mood—this is a true mixed bag that reflects the different styles and workflows of the engineers behind the mixes. In that way, it’s less of a curated playlist and more of a sonic snapshot of what’s happening in studios using Focal gear right now.

If you want to hear what these tracks sound like on the same speakers they were mixed on, Focal has that covered too. You can book listening sessions at Focal Powered by Naim stores or visit select pro audio dealers to demo the monitors in person.

That’s part of what makes this playlist a little different—it’s not just about the music, but also about connecting the dots between the songs, the engineers, and the tools used to make them.

Focal "Holiday Cheer Mix" Immersive VOL. 2

Since it’s the holiday season, Focal is also bringing back its “Holiday Cheer Mix” Immersive Vol. 2 playlist. This one’s a bit different—it features holiday tracks mixed or mastered using Focal’s studio gear and hi-fi speakers, with contributions from big names like Alicia Keys, John Legend, NSYNC, and Luther Vandross.

Engineers like Bobby Campbell and mastering pros Marc Theriault and Michael Romanowski handled the production work, using setups that include everything from Focal Solo6s to the high-end Stella Utopia EMs.

If you want something festive that still highlights the production side of things, it’s a fun alternative to the usual holiday playlists.

You can find both the “Mixed on Focal #7” and the “Holiday Cheer Mix” over at thefocalproexperience.com. The site also lets you explore more about the engineers involved, the monitors they use, and how to book a session to hear them in person.
