FiiO is back with a pair of ultra-portable USB-C dongle DACs that promise to improve your wired headphone experience—without draining your wallet. The new Snowsky TINY A and TINY B are priced at just $21.99 and are small enough to toss in your pocket, purse, or even clip onto a keychain. But don’t let their size fool you—these little guys are doing more than just replacing your phone’s missing headphone jack.
FiiO didn’t just release one version of the Snowsky TINY—they launched two, each designed for slightly different needs:

Both models support 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256, so they’ll handle just about any high-res audio file you throw at them. There’s also a multicolor RGB indicator that lights up to show you the quality of what you’re playing.
One of the more surprising features for a $22 DAC? A full 10-band parametric EQ. You can tweak everything using the FiiO Control app or even through a web interface if you’re on a computer. Want to dial back the bass or boost vocals in your favorite playlist? You can do that. You can also save your favorite EQ settings and even share them with friends.
And since the EQ settings are stored on the DAC itself, they’ll stick around no matter what device you plug it into.

The Snowsky TINY supports USB Audio Class 1.0 and 2.0, so it’s compatible with more than just your smartphone. It works with Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and iOS (with an adapter), as well as PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. That makes it one of the more flexible DACs at this price point.
Inline remotes and microphone support are included too, which means you don’t have to give up phone call functionality or in-game voice chat when using your wired headset.
Both versions live up to the “tiny” name. The TINY A weighs just 7g and measures 29 x 22 x 10mm, while the TINY B comes in at 10g and 35 x 24 x 11mm. They’re both built with CNC-milled metal housings that feel more premium than the plastic dongles that come bundled with phones.
They also come in black, silver, or gold, which might appeal to folks who like their gadgets to match their iPhones or laptops.

Output power won’t blow away any desktop amps, but it’s solid for what it is. The TINY A puts out up to 45mW, while the TINY B gives you 68mW through its 3.5 mm output and 45mW through the 4.4 mm jack. That’s plenty for everyday headphones and most in-ear monitors.
If you’re using something power-hungry like planar magnetic headphones, this probably isn’t going to cut it. But for commuting, travel, or casual listening, it’ll get the job done.
If you’re still using wired headphones—or just want a no-fuss, budget-friendly way to enjoy better sound—FiiO’s Snowsky TINY dongles are an easy upgrade. For just $21.99, you get high-res audio support, real EQ control, cross-platform compatibility, and a design that won’t fall apart in your bag.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind: there’s no Lightning version, so if your iPhone still uses the old port, you’ll need an adapter. And this won’t replace a dedicated desktop DAC/amp setup. But for the price, portability, and feature set, the Snowsky TINY lineup makes a pretty strong case for itself.
Both Snowsky TINY A and TINY B are available now on Amazon, in your choice of black, silver, or gold.
