It’s a small, full HD projector that’s easy to set up, easy to move around, and priced to be pretty tempting—especially with its current early-bird deal bringing it down to $179 on Amazon from the usual $229.

The N2 Mini is compact and lightweight, coming in at just under 4 pounds. That means it’s easy to carry around the house, move between rooms, or stash away when you’re not using it. But what really makes it stand out is the built-in gimbal stand, which can tilt up to 190 degrees vertically. 

So if you want to watch a movie on your bedroom wall, project a video on the ceiling while lying in bed, or use it for a quick presentation, you’ve got options — no stacking books or wrestling with mounts.

Dangbei even placed the power port on the base, which helps keep cords out of the way. And to protect the internal lens system, the projector is sealed to help keep out dust — a thoughtful touch that should help it last longer (though the company doesn’t say exactly how long that is).

One of the nicest features of the N2 Mini is that it comes with Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube pre-installed — and each of those apps gets its own dedicated button on the remote. That means no extra streaming devices, no juggling inputs, and no awkward workarounds to get the apps you want.

You get a 6-watt speaker system built in, and it supports Dolby Audio. It won’t replace a full surround setup, but it should be perfectly fine for casual viewing.

On the connectivity side, you’ve got Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, so you’re set for streaming and pairing with other devices. There are close to 300 apps available, so there’s a good chance your favorite streaming services are ready to go.

This isn’t a projector for everyone. If you’re a gamer looking to connect a PS5 or Xbox Series X, or if you want ultra-bright performance in a lit room, the N2 Mini probably won’t cut it.
