Arcam is making a major move into home theater with the latest additions to its Radia Series. The British audio brand has just announced a full suite of AV gear, three AV receivers, a 16-channel processor, and two power amplifiers, geared toward immersive setups and modern multi-room installations.

Unveiled during the company’s 50th anniversary year alongside six new loudspeakers, these new models are the most ambitious Radia products to date. And if you’ve been following the Radia line, you’ll know it started off in the stereo world. Now, it’s branching out in a big way to cover surround sound, object-based audio, and system-wide room tuning.

Here’s the breakdown of what’s new:

  • AV receivers: AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35
  • AV processor: AVP45
  • Power amplifiers: PA4 (4-channel) and PA9 (9-channel)

Each piece keeps the sleek Radia design, matte black finish, yellow highlights, and a full-color 6.5-inch display. And beyond the styling, Arcam is leaning into flexibility and control, with a strong focus on compatibility with immersive audio formats, room correction, and streaming.

Meet the AVA Series: Three Receivers, Three Levels

AVA15

This is the most accessible of the bunch and a good starting point if you’re setting up your first Atmos system or want something that can scale. It offers 12 channels of processing, which covers setups like 7.1.2 or 5.1.4, and has support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. You can assign speaker channels flexibly and build around it over time.

  • Power: 9 x 100W (Class D)
  • Digital-to-Analog Conversion: ESS Hyperstream IV
  • Streaming support: Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz
  • Price: $4,499.95

AVA25

Step up to the AVA25, and you’re getting Class AB amplification with the same 9 x 100W output, along with support for Auro-3D. It also adds a third HDMI output and Zone 2 support, making it more versatile for larger or multi-room setups. It features a toroidal linear power supply for better stability during high-demand scenes.

  • Price: $5,499.95

AVA35

At the top of the AVA lineup is the AVA35, which swaps in Class G amplification, a more advanced hybrid approach that combines energy efficiency and sound quality. It’s also the first time Arcam has used Class G for nine channels in one box. Other standout features include Matrix Channel Assignment, which lets you use internal amps however you like (great if you’re offloading your mains to external amps), and an upgraded ESS Hyperstream IV Pro DAC.

  • Price: $6,999.95

Prefer Separates? Arcam’s Got You Covered

If you're the kind of person who wants total control and top-tier performance, Arcam’s also offering a separates option.

AVP45 Processor

This 16-channel processor supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced, and is designed to be the brains of your system. It features balanced outputs and Matrix Channel Assignment to accommodate all kinds of speaker layouts.

PA9 Power Amp

Pair the AVP45 with the PA9, and you’ve got nine channels of Class G amplification to power even large multi-speaker systems. This duo gives you the flexibility of separates while staying within the same design family.

  • AVP45 Price: $5,999.95
  • PA9 Price: $4,999.95

And for those looking to expand beyond nine channels or power second zones, there’s the more compact PA4. It delivers 4 x 50W of Class D power from a low-profile chassis that’s even wall-mountable.

  • PA4 Price: $1,499.95

Room Calibration, Smart Streaming, HDMI Support and Setup Tools

One of the big draws here is support for Dirac Live, including Room Correction, Bass Control, and Active Room Treatment (ART). ART takes things a step further by tuning all your speakers together, instead of just one at a time, which can help with tighter bass and smoother spatial performance.

Streaming also gets plenty of attention across the board. All models are compatible with Roon, AirPlay, Chromecast, and offer native support for Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz. Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast is included too, which could be a nice future-proofing touch.

On the video side, all the AVA receivers and the AVP processor include HDMI 2.1a ports that are 8K-ready, plus eARC for simplified connection to modern TVs. There’s also an updated Radia app in the works, which should help streamline installation, calibration, and everyday use.
