Monitor Audio has just launched the seventh generation of its long-running Bronze Series, bringing a fresh update to one of its most well-known speaker lines. With five models designed for both stereo listening and full home theater setups, the new Bronze 7G lineup aims to combine refined sound, modern design, and everyday practicality. Whether you’re starting a hi-fi journey or building out a living room surround system, there’s something here for a wide range of listeners.

The Bronze 7G lineup includes five models, all designed to work together in everything from simple two-channel systems to full surround sound setups. Here’s what’s in the lineup:

Monitor Audio Bronze Series 7G in Walnut color.

The Bronze Series has been around for more than two decades, and while the general idea hasn’t changed, Monitor Audio has given just about every part of the 7G series an update. That includes the drivers, cabinet design, and internal components.

At the core of each speaker is the brand’s C-CAM driver tech—short for Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium. That covers both the tweeters and the bass/midrange drivers. The latest version of the gold dome tweeter (a design they’ve been refining since the early ’80s) is tuned to deliver detailed high frequencies without sounding too sharp or clinical.

The midrange and bass drivers also got an overhaul. They’re still based on C-CAM materials but now feature larger voice coils and improved magnets. That’s meant to increase sensitivity, lower distortion, and make sure the midrange—where vocals and instruments often live—sounds more lifelike and accurate.

Inside, the crossovers (which help route sound to the right drivers) were tuned through both lab measurements and real-world listening tests. They now use upgraded components that aim to keep the signal path clean and the transitions between frequencies smooth.

Beyond the audio tech, Monitor Audio also paid attention to how these speakers are built and how they look. The cabinets now use a mix of real wood and plywood front baffles—a choice that’s not all that common in this price range. It’s not just for looks, either. That kind of construction is more rigid, which helps reduce unwanted vibrations and resonances that can muddy the sound.

There’s also something called “through-bolt” construction. Basically, the inside of each cabinet is bolted together in a way that tightens things up without the need for a bunch of screws on the outside. That not only reinforces the cabinet’s structure but also gives the speakers a cleaner appearance.

As for finishes, you’ve got a few modern options: Satin Black, Satin White, and Walnut. Paired with either painted or wood veneer baffles, the speakers are designed to fit into a wide range of home interiors—whether you’re going for understated or something a little more stylish.

There’s no subwoofer in the Bronze 7G lineup itself, but Monitor Audio designed these speakers to work seamlessly with their Vestra subwoofers, which were developed in parallel. Those come in 10-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch sizes and share the same visual design, so the pairing looks intentional. More importantly, they’re acoustically tuned to integrate smoothly, whether you’re listening to music or watching movies.

Because all five Bronze 7G models use the same tweeter and driver platform, sound remains consistent even when you mix and match different speakers in a setup. That’s especially helpful for surround sound, where differences in speaker voicing can be distracting.

Bronze On-Wall 7G speaker in Satin White color.

The new On-Wall 7G speaker is a particularly handy addition. It gives people with limited floor space or those looking for a cleaner look an option that can be wall-mounted without much hassle. Meanwhile, the AMS 7G modules are made for height effects in Dolby Atmos setups, bouncing sound off the ceiling to add another dimension to your movies or games.

The entire Bronze 7G lineup is available now. Here’s what each model costs:

That pricing puts the series in the same general territory as speaker lines like the Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series, giving buyers a few options to compare at the entry-to-mid-level point.
