The beyerdynamic AVENTHO 100 wireless on-ear headphones, first introduced earlier this summer in Canada, are now officially available in the U.S. Priced at $229, the headphones can be purchased on Amazon in three color options—Black, Cream, and Brown—bringing their retro-modern blend of design and features to a wider audience.
The AVENTHO 100 takes its visual cues from classic 1970s audio gear, but don't let the vintage aesthetic fool you—these headphones are built for today’s tech-filled lifestyles. Designed with commuters, hybrid workers, and casual listeners in mind, the AVENTHO 100 pairs a compact on-ear form factor with features like Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), Bluetooth 5.4, long battery life, and multipoint connectivity.
Available in three finishes—each with a different retro vibe—the headphones are made to stand out in a world full of matte black plastic. Whether you’re going for understated or eye-catching, there’s a version to match your style.

“AVENTHO 100 captures what beyerdynamic has always stood for - great sound with its own distinct character,” said Andreas Rapp, CEO of beyerdynamic. “By blending a classic on-ear look with the latest technology, we’ve created a headphone that feels timeless yet perfectly suited for today’s listeners.”
With a foldable frame, plush ear pads, and a soft carry pouch included, the AVENTHO 100 was clearly designed for portability. The lightweight design makes it easy to wear for long stretches, whether you're on a plane, working remotely, or just relaxing at home.
Sound comes courtesy of a 45mm driver developed in Germany, which beyerdynamic says is tuned to deliver a balanced listening experience with clean bass, smooth mids, and clear treble. If you’re someone who listens to a variety of music genres—or switches frequently between music, podcasts, and calls—this kind of balance might appeal to you.

For calls, the AVENTHO 100 uses Qualcomm’s cVc technology to clean up voice quality, which can help when you’re taking meetings or chatting in noisy environments.
Battery life is a standout feature here: up to 60 hours of playback with ANC off, and 40 hours with ANC turned on. Even if you forget to charge them, a 15-minute quick charge will get you another 15 hours of playback. That’s enough to cover a full workday or a long-haul flight.
Bluetooth 5.4 support ensures efficient, stable connections, and multipoint pairing allows the headphones to stay connected to two devices at once—like your phone and laptop—without constant switching. Google Fast Pair is also onboard for quick setup with Android devices.

The beyerdynamic app lets users personalize ANC strength, install firmware updates, and tweak a few settings to tailor the headphones to their needs. While it doesn’t add any flashy extras, the app serves as a practical hub for keeping things up to date and dialed in.
Along with the headphones themselves, the AVENTHO 100 package includes a USB-C charging cable, a 3.5mm AUX cable for wired use, and a soft carry bag for travel. This mix of wireless and wired options makes it a good fit for listeners who still use devices with headphone jacks—or just want to preserve battery life when needed.
The AVENTHO 100 is available now on Amazon U.S. for $229, with all three color variants—Black, Brown, and Cream—in stock at launch.
