Samsung just kicked off reservations for its next Galaxy smartphones, and while the company hasn’t officially named the models yet, let’s be honest—it’s almost certainly the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
The big reveal is coming July 9 during Samsung’s summer Unpacked event, but if you’re even thinking about grabbing one of these new foldables, reserving early comes with some decent perks—and zero pressure. It’s not a preorder, so you’re not locked into anything. There’s no deposit. Just a quick sign-up with your email gets you in line for a few early extras.
If you reserve now through Samsung’s website or the Samsung Shop App, you’ll score a $50 Samsung credit that can be used later when preorders open. It’s not usable on the phone itself, but it’s perfect for picking up a case, charger, or maybe a new pair of earbuds.
You’ll also be entered into a sweepstakes to win $5,000 in Samsung credit—no purchase needed. Just signing up puts your name in the running.
On top of that, Samsung is offering triple Samsung Rewards points if you go through with a preorder later. If you’re already in the Samsung ecosystem, that could add up quickly for future discounts or goodies.
Again, Samsung hasn’t dropped the names yet, but all signs point to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 making their debut on July 9. There’s even talk of a Flip 7 FE model, which could be a more affordable option.
Based on leaks and early reports, the Fold 7 is expected to be noticeably slimmer and lighter than past versions—something fans have been asking for. We might also see a return to punch-hole cameras on the displays, rather than the under-display camera approach that hasn’t exactly wowed anyone.
For the Flip 7, rumors suggest a larger outer display that could make it a lot more usable when the phone is folded shut. Internally, it might carry over the same camera setup as last year’s Flip 6, but we’re expecting updates in areas like the processor, battery life, and software. Both phones will likely run Android 16 and may include features already seen in the Galaxy S25 line, like new AI tools or maybe even a bundled subscription to Google’s AI Pro service.
If you do decide to preorder next month, Samsung’s offering up to $1,150 in trade-in value depending on your old device. There’s also 0% financing available if you prefer to spread out payments.
Ordering directly from Samsung could also unlock a few extras, like exclusive color choices, special carrier plans, and a discounted rate on Samsung Care+. Whether you want the phone shipped to your door or prefer to pick it up at a nearby store, you’ll have options.
It’s pretty simple. Just follow this link and sign up with your name and email. That’s it. You can include a phone number if you want, but it’s optional. Once you’re in, you’ll be all set when preorders open right after the Unpacked event wraps up on July 9.
We won’t know the full picture until Unpacked, but if you're at all curious about Samsung's upcoming foldables, reserving early is an easy, no-risk way to keep your options open—and maybe pocket some extras in the process.
