Epson is stepping into the lifestyle projector game in a more noticeable way with its new Lifestudio lineup. This range includes five models designed for everything from backyard movie nights to immersive gaming sessions—all with built-in Bose sound, RGB-LED 3LCD projection, and Google TV baked in.
If you're looking for something compact and portable or a setup that stays in your living room full time, there's a Lifestudio model that fits the bill.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the five models and where they land:
The Pop and Flex models are small, portable projectors, while the Grand is a larger ultra short throw (UST) projector made for a more permanent spot in your home.

"Epson Lifestudio is purposefully crafted to bring people together – helping to capture, share and relive life's most meaningful moments. Because the best memories aren't just seen, they're shared," said Rodrigo Catalan, Group Product Manager at Epson America, Inc. "Lifestudio introduces more than just innovative technology; collaborating with the Bose team, Lifestudio projectors represents both incredible visuals and detailed audio for a truly immersive entertainment experience that brings people together."
All models come with Google TV, so you can jump right into Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, or whatever streaming service you use without needing a separate device. You also get Google Assistant voice control and casting support from Android and iOS.
Plus, Epson has rolled out the new Epson Projection Studio app, which lets you control the projector remotely, tweak volume, and even throw together a quick slideshow or video montage to share with friends and family—either in person or remotely via link or QR code.
This is the first time Epson is using RGB-LED lighting in a 3LCD projector, which helps with color, longevity, and energy efficiency. The Pop Plus and Flex Plus support 4K PRO-UHD resolution (via pixel-shifting), while the standard Pop and Flex models stick with Full HD.

Brightness is solid for this category. Most portable models hit 700 lumens, which works best in dark or dim environments. The Flex Plus kicks it up to 1,000 lumens, and the UST Lifestudio Grand delivers a much brighter 3,600 lumens, which should be enough for living rooms with ambient light.
No one wants to spend 20 minutes fiddling with focus and angle settings. That’s where EpiqSense 2.0 comes in. It handles things like focus, alignment, keystone correction, and even color tuning based on your wall or screen—all automatically.
So whether you're projecting on a white screen, a textured wall, or the ceiling, it’s designed to adapt with minimal fuss.
Every Lifestudio projector comes with Bose-designed audio, and this is the first time Bose has officially partnered on a projector speaker system. The speakers are built-in, and there are four sound modes to pick from: Cinema, Dialogue, Music, and Standard.

If you're watching a movie or gaming, you can match the audio profile to the content. And yes, there’s HDMI eARC for connecting to an external receiver if you want to go all-out with surround sound. You can also use the projector as a Bluetooth speaker when you're not watching anything.
"For over 60 years, delivering incredible audio experiences has been at the heart of everything we do at Bose," said Nick Smith, President of the Audio Technology Business and Chief Strategy Officer at Bose. "We're thrilled to partner with Epson and bring our audio expertise to their Lifestudio lineup. By combining their immersive viewing experience with our exceptional sound, we're taking home entertainment to the next level – and I can't wait for customers everywhere to experience it."
The Flex models come in a cube shape with a built-in tilt-and-swivel stand, making it easy to aim your picture at a wall, ceiling, or even the floor. The Flex Plus adds some ambient lighting and a USB-C charging port, which could be handy if you're using a portable power bank.
The Pop series is more compact, with a simple rectangular design and smaller stands. They’re lighter and easier to carry, and they come in colors like Metallic Navy, Rose Quartz, and Diamond White.

As for the Lifestudio Grand, this one is made for more permanent setups. It’s an ultra short throw projector that can project up to a 120-inch image from just over 15 inches away. It supports HDR10, works with 1080p at 120Hz, and is a solid choice for sports, gaming, or movie nights.
Epson is offering a couple of add-ons too. There’s an optional floor stand for the Flex models and a wireless karaoke mic that works with all five projectors—great for parties or family gatherings.
