While most wireless earbud headlines go to the big-name brands, EarFun’s new Air Pro 4+ might be the quiet disruptor in the room. These sub-$100 earbuds bring features like dual drivers, adaptive ANC, and support for high-res audio formats, and they’re clearly designed to give AirPods Pro 3 and other more expensive models a run for their money.
Most wireless earbuds rely on a single driver to handle the full range of audio, but the Air Pro 4+ takes a different route. Inside each earbud, there’s a 10mm dynamic driver teamed up with a lightweight FeatherBA balanced armature. One handles the low and midrange frequencies (your bass and vocals), while the other focuses on the highs (like cymbals or strings).
It’s a setup often seen in more expensive gear — like studio in-ear monitors or flagship over-ear headphones — so seeing it in a sub-$100 earbud is pretty rare. Whether you're listening to podcasts, playlists, or watching videos, you’re getting a more layered sound than you’d expect at this price.

To make that dual-driver system work smoothly, EarFun added something called Nano Side-Fitted Acoustic Architecture (or NSAA). Sounds fancy, but here’s the gist: both drivers are placed at an exact 11-degree angle inside the earbud. That’s meant to reduce interference between the two and help the sound feel more natural and detailed, especially in the upper frequencies.
And since fit is just as important as sound, EarFun says they shaped the Air Pro 4+ using data from 10,000 ear models. The result is a 3-point ergonomic design that aims to stay comfortable through long listening sessions without feeling too bulky or tight.
"Through extensive testing, we discovered that setting an 11-degree angle between the two drivers minimizes high-frequency attenuation caused by interference," said Rocky Deng, CTO of EarFun. "This innovation delivers clearer, more natural highs, redefining what's possible for earbuds under $100."

One of the headline features is QuietSmart 3.0 adaptive noise cancellation, which adjusts based on your surroundings and can reportedly reduce ambient noise by up to 50dB. Whether you’re working in a noisy café or on a crowded train, the earbuds aim to filter out distractions without needing to manually switch modes.
On the call quality side, there’s a six-microphone setup enhanced by AI. It’s designed to pick up your voice while reducing wind and background chatter, so your calls stay clear no matter where you are.
Inside the earbuds, you’ll find the Qualcomm QCC3091 chip — which means support for high-res codecs like LDAC and aptX Lossless, along with the newer Bluetooth 6.0 standard. If you're using an Android phone that supports these, you should get better audio quality over wireless. iPhone users will still get AAC support, which is standard across Apple devices.
The earbuds also work with Google Fast Pair, support LE Audio, Auracast, and offer a low-latency Gaming Mode for when you need your audio to stay perfectly synced with the screen.

Battery life is where these earbuds really pull ahead. You’ll get up to 54 hours total when using the charging case, or 36 hours with ANC turned on — which is significantly longer than many competitors in this space.
Charging is convenient too: the case supports wireless charging, and if you're in a rush, a 10-minute charge gives you about three hours of playback. Not bad when you’re heading out the door and realize your earbuds are dead.
The Air Pro 4+ has an IP55 rating, which means they’re resistant to dust and water — fine for workouts or running errands in light rain. They’re not fully waterproof, so swimming is off the table, but for everyday wear, they should hold up well.
Design-wise, they’ve already picked up a few industry nods, including a Red Dot Design Award and an IFA Innovation Award Honoree mention for 2025.
Technical Specifications:
If you’re looking for wireless earbuds with serious features — dual drivers, ANC, long battery life, and high-res audio support, but don’t want to spend over $100, the EarFun Air Pro 4+ makes a strong case. They tick a lot of boxes without trying too hard to look or feel “premium,” and that might be exactly what people want in this price range.
The Air Pro 4+ earbuds are available now on EarFun’s website and on their official Amazon store, listed at $99.99 in the U.S. and £89.99 in the U.K. Early buyers can stack launch promotions and coupons to bring the price down to around $74.99, making them even more attractive for budget-conscious shoppers.
