Arlo has given its entire home security camera lineup a refresh, introducing new versions across the Essential, Pro, and Ultra series. The company also rolled out its first pan-tilt models, bringing more flexible coverage options for both indoor and outdoor setups. All of these new devices now work with Arlo Intelligence, the AI-powered system built into the Arlo Secure app.

"Building on the successful launch of Arlo Secure 6 and its advanced AI capabilities earlier this year, we're excited to introduce our all-new lineup that leverages all of the advanced capabilities of Arlo Intelligence to deliver smarter, safer and more comprehensive smart home security," said Matthew McRae, CEO of Arlo Technologies.

"With over 5 million subscribers globally, Arlo is the trusted provider of security services that continues to lead the market, offering the most advanced, easy-to-use smart security platform that delivers more intelligence, more control, and more peace of mind."

Arlo Essential Security Camera (3rd Gen) Battery Operated

Arlo’s Essential line gets its third generation, aimed at users who want straightforward security options without breaking the bank. These cameras come in both HD (1080p) and 2K versions, with choices for plug-in power or battery operation.

  • Essential Indoor Camera (3rd Gen) Plug-in: $24.99 (HD) or $39.99 (2K)
  • Essential Security Camera Plug-in: $39.99 (HD) or $49.99 (2K)
  • Essential Security Camera (3rd Gen) Battery Operated: $49.99 (HD) or $69.99 (2K)
  • Essential XL Security Camera (3rd Gen) Battery Operated: $69.99 (HD) or $79.99 (2K)

The XL models are designed for longer runtime thanks to larger batteries, while the plug-in versions are best suited for users who want a permanent, always-powered setup.

Arlo Essential Pan Tilt Security Camera.

The standout addition is the brand’s first-ever pan-tilt models, which can physically rotate and tilt to give users a much wider field of view. These cameras are meant for people who want one device to cover an entire room or yard.

  • Essential Pan Tilt Indoor Camera: $34.99 (HD) or $49.99 (2K)
  • Essential Pan Tilt Security Camera (Outdoor): $49.99 (HD) or $59.99 (2K)

Both versions feature 360° pan and 180° tilt, motion tracking, two-way audio, and dual-band Wi-Fi. The outdoor model is weather-resistant and includes a built-in spotlight for capturing color video at night. Privacy controls are available in the Arlo app, so users can disable audio and video when needed.

Arlo Pro Security Camera 2K (6th Gen).

Arlo’s Pro lineup reaches its sixth generation, offering higher performance without moving all the way up to Ultra. The cameras record in 2K HDR and have wide 160-degree fields of view, color night vision, swappable rechargeable batteries, and an integrated siren.

  • Pro Security Camera 2K (6th Gen): $124.99
  • Pro XL Security Camera 2K (6th Gen): $199.99

The XL version includes a larger battery for extended use, making it more suitable for spots where frequent recharging isn’t practical.

Arlo Ultra Security Camera 4K (3rd Gen)

At the top of the lineup sits the Ultra 4K Security Camera (3rd Gen). It delivers 4K HDR video with an ultra-wide 180° field of view and two-way audio with noise reduction. Designed for outdoor use, it’s fully weather-resistant and comes with a swappable rechargeable battery.

  • Ultra Security Camera 4K (3rd Gen): $199.99

This is Arlo’s highest-spec camera and is aimed at users who want maximum detail, whether for capturing license plates, packages, or faces in varied lighting conditions.

Arlo Ultra 3 and Smart Hub.

All of these new cameras integrate with the Arlo Secure app. Subscribing to the service unlocks Arlo Intelligence, which uses AI to identify people, vehicles, packages, pets, and even hazards like smoke alarms. It can also generate captions for events, giving quick context before watching a full clip.

Plans start at $7.99 per month, with a premium option that includes 24/7 professional monitoring and emergency response support. New camera purchases include a 30-day free trial.

The entire refreshed lineup—Essential, Pro, Ultra, and the new Pan-Tilt cameras—is available now for preorder on Arlo’s website and Amazon. U.S. customers will get access first, while international rollout timelines haven’t been confirmed.
