The 2025 Samsung OLED That Won Our Editor’s Choice Award Is Still At Its Lowest Price Ever — Even After Prime Day

If you missed Prime Day, you’ve still got a shot at grabbing one of the best OLED TV deals of the year.

The 2025 Samsung OLED That Won Our Editor’s Choice Award Is Still At Its Lowest Price Ever — Even After Prime Day

Look, I know Prime Day is over. Everyone’s moved on to whatever the next shopping holiday is. But if you’re still on the hunt for a killer TV deal, don’t close those browser tabs just yet — because the Samsung 55-Inch Class OLED S90F is still sitting at its lowest price ever.

  • Original price: $1,597.99
  • Now: $1,099.99
  • You save: $498 (31% off!)

I honestly thought this deal would disappear the moment Prime Day wrapped up. But it’s still live — and that’s wild, considering this is one of Samsung’s flagship OLED TVs for 2025. And more than that, our own HomeTheaterReview reviewer Connor TheDisplayGuy gave the S90F the Editor’s Choice Award earlier this year. So yeah, this one’s personal for me, and I’ll tell you why I think it deserves your attention.

SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class OLED S90F 4K Smart TV (2025 Model).

Let me just get this out of the way: I spend a lot of time looking at TVs. Writing about them, reviewing them, comparing specs — it's kind of my thing. And among the sea of buzzwords and gimmicks, the S90F stood out to me as one of the best price-to-performance OLEDs Samsung has ever put out.

It slots in right below the more expensive S95F in Samsung’s OLED lineup. But don’t let that fool you — this thing still packs a serious punch.

Here’s what you’re getting for just over a grand:

  • 55-inch OLED panel (with Quantum Dot layer on many variants)
  • 4K resolution with HDR10+ (sorry, still no Dolby Vision — it’s a Samsung thing)
  • 4K 144Hz refresh rate — yes, you read that right, 144Hz on an OLED TV
  • AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, VRR, and low input lag for gamers
  • Tizen OS smart TV platform with voice control (Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant)
  • HDMI 2.1 ports for your PS5, Xbox Series X, or high-end PC
  • AI-powered upscaling and motion smoothing (that you can turn off, don’t worry)

But what really stuck with me — and with Connor in his review — is just how well-balanced this TV is. It’s not the absolute brightest OLED out there, but it delivers a rich, contrasty image that feels natural and cinematic. Colors are vibrant without being cartoonish. Motion handling is solid. And it just looks good in almost any situation.

Connor TheDisplayGuy, who reviewed the S90F for HomeTheaterReview, didn’t mince words in his evaluation. He praised the QD-OLED panel’s vibrant color reproduction, excellent HDR performance, and the fact that it holds up beautifully across different content types — from movies to games.

"Samsung's new 2025 S90F is a major upgrade over the S90D bringing higher brightness, better color, new AI features, an improved Tizen OS, and sticks with a glossy coating for exceptional clarity. That said, the S90F still struggles with ambient light like all QD OLEDs, leading to lower contrast in bright rooms and Samsung has a few accuracy and brightness issues in game mode. Despite Its flaws the S90F would be my top QD OLED choice in 2025," said Connor.

You can read the full review on HomeTheaterReview, but the takeaway is clear: this TV punches way above its price point, and getting it for $1,099.99 is kind of ridiculous.

Samsung S90F Key Features.

The S90F isn’t just on sale. It’s at its lowest price ever, and that’s rare for a relatively new 2025 model. Usually, TV prices creep down slowly over the year and then drop hard for Black Friday. But this? This is a Black Friday price in October, and we just lived through it.

And let’s not forget: Samsung OLEDs tend to hold their value longer than budget brands. This isn’t a clearance sale or a fire-sale on last year’s inventory. This is a calculated drop — and it may not last.

Here’s who this deal is perfect for:

  • You want an OLED but don’t want to pay $2,000+
  • You’re a gamer and need 144Hz, VRR, low latency
  • You stream 4K HDR content and want a cinematic experience
  • You trust our reviews and want a top pick from HomeTheaterReview
  • You don’t need Dolby Vision and are fine with HDR10+

Here’s who might want to shop around:

  • You live in a super bright room and hate reflections
  • You’re deep into the Dolby Vision ecosystem
  • You’re hoping to go bigger than 55 inches

But for most folks? This is a fantastic value TV. It checks almost every box and outperforms anything in its price range.

I don’t know how long Samsung or Amazon will keep this price live — and frankly, I’m surprised it’s stuck around this long. Most Prime Day OLED deals vanished within hours. But somehow, the S90F is still sitting at $1,099.99, just a few days later.

I’d be shocked if we see this price again before Black Friday — and even then, stock could be an issue. If you’ve been holding off, I genuinely think this is one of the best OLED buys of the year so far.
