SOUNDPEATS Launches H3 Wireless Earbuds with Triple Drivers and Serious Noise Cancelling

SOUNDPEATS says its new $129 earbuds can go toe-to-toe with wired Hi-Fi gear — and the spec sheet makes that claim interesting.

SOUNDPEATS is back with a new pair of wireless earbuds — and this time, they’re going all in on audio quality. The new H3 earbuds pack three drivers per ear, support for high-res wireless audio, and powerful active noise cancellation, all aimed at listeners who want something that sounds a bit more refined than your average earbuds.

If you’ve been following SOUNDPEATS for a while, you’ll probably recognize their H1 or Opera models. The H3 builds on that legacy but takes things a step further. This time, the focus is on delivering performance that competes with wired gear, without giving up the convenience of Bluetooth.

What sets the H3 apart is its triple-driver setup. Each earbud combines two balanced armature drivers — which handle the mids and highs — with a larger 12mm dynamic driver that covers the low end. That kind of configuration is usually reserved for much pricier in-ear monitors, so it’s interesting to see it show up in a $130 set of wireless earbuds.

To support that hardware, the H3 also includes Qualcomm’s QCC3091 chip, which unlocks high-quality Bluetooth audio with Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless, and LDAC. If your phone or streaming device supports it, you can get near-lossless sound over Bluetooth, which is about as good as it gets for wireless right now.

And if you’re someone who likes to tweak their sound, the PeatsAudio app includes a 9-band equalizer and firmware update tools, so you can dial things in to your liking.

The H3 isn’t just about sound quality — it also aims to block out the world around you. With hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) and six microphones, these earbuds can cut ambient noise by up to 55 decibels, which is right up there with some of the strongest ANC earbuds on the market.

There are four ANC modes to choose from:

  • Adaptive Mode, which uses AI to adjust noise cancellation based on your surroundings
  • Indoor Mode, for spaces like offices and living rooms
  • Outdoor Mode, tuned for open environments
  • Traffic Mode, which is designed for commuting

You also get a Transparency Mode, so you can hear what’s going on around you without taking the earbuds out — useful if you’re walking around town or waiting for an announcement at the train station.

For phone calls, the built-in mics work with cVc 8.0 noise reduction and AI processing to help keep your voice clear, even in noisy environments.

Visually, the H3 has a bit more personality than your typical all-black earbuds. Each one weighs just 6 grams and features a semi-transparent housing with metallic accents, so you can see a bit of the inner workings. There’s also a metal aluminum nozzle, which SOUNDPEATS says helps with treble clarity.

You’ll get five sizes of ear tips in the box, which should make it easier to find a good fit. SOUNDPEATS also says they went through over 16 manufacturing processes to refine the build, using six different materials to balance durability, comfort, and style.

The H3 is designed to work well in your daily routine. You can connect to two devices at once, making it easy to switch between your phone and laptop. Battery life comes in at around 7 hours per charge, with another 30 hours from the charging case — so you’re looking at up to 37 hours total.

If you’re in a rush, a 10-minute quick charge gives you about 2 hours of playback, which is handy for those “I forgot to charge them last night” moments.

There’s also a low-latency Game Mode (around 60ms) for smoother sync when watching videos or playing mobile games. And with IPX5 water resistance, they can handle sweaty workouts or light rain without a problem.

The SOUNDPEATS H3 is available now at Amazon, at a launch price of $129.99. There’s also a 10% off promo code — SPPRESSH3 — valid from September 18 through October 30, 2025.
