If you’ve ever wished your TV could roll into the kitchen or your monitor could follow you to the patio, Samsung’s new Movingstyle series might be exactly what you imagined. The company’s two new models, the Movingstyle (LSM7F) and the Movingstyle M7 Smart Monitor (M70F), are built to move with you through the day—rolling from room to room, running on battery power, and switching between work and entertainment on the fly.
The 27-inch Movingstyle takes a very different approach to what a “portable display” means. It sits on a sleek stand with hidden wheels, so you can simply roll it from one room to another. Want to take it off the stand? Pop it off, grab the built-in handle, and carry it like a giant tablet.
The handle also doubles as a kickstand, letting you prop it up on a counter or table when you’re cooking, drawing, or watching something while you work. It’s got a built-in battery that lasts up to three hours, so you can go cordless for short stretches—perfect for presentations, backyard movie nights, or moving between rooms without unplugging anything.
Weighing about 12 pounds, it’s not exactly lightweight, but it’s portable enough for a screen this size.
The Movingstyle’s larger sibling, the Movingstyle M7 Smart Monitor, bumps things up to a 32-inch 4K display. It’s designed more as a mobile workstation than a carry-around screen. The M7 stays attached to its rolling base—built with quiet, hidden wheels—and can glide easily across hard floors or carpet.
The stand can tilt, swivel, and adjust in height, so you can use it for a workout video one minute and a work presentation the next. The power cable runs neatly through the column of the stand instead of dangling loose, which keeps everything looking tidy.
Both models can rotate between portrait and landscape modes, which is great for everything from video calls and presentations to scrolling long documents or TikTok-style videos.

Samsung didn’t reinvent the software side here—it’s built on the same Tizen OS that powers its TVs and smart monitors. That means you get Samsung TV Plus for free live channels, and access to Samsung Gaming Hub, which lets you stream games from services like Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nvidia GeForce NOW, and Amazon Luna—no console required.
Both displays come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, and HDMI ports, so they play nicely with phones, laptops, and consoles if you do want to plug in. You can also use Storage Share to pull files directly from a Galaxy phone, or use Workspace to access cloud apps like Microsoft 365 or Google Meet.
There are plenty of ways to control the screens, too: touchscreen gestures, voice commands through Bixby, or even gesture controls via a connected Galaxy Watch.

The 27-inch Movingstyle has a 2560×1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos. The M7 goes bigger and sharper with 4K UHD resolution, aimed more at productivity and crisp video playback.
Neither is trying to replace a full-blown OLED TV, but both offer smooth, detailed visuals and solid sound for a screen you can roll around or carry.
Samsung also brought its Art Store concept to the Movingstyle lineup. When the screens aren’t in use, you can turn them into digital art displays, showing over 4,000 curated pieces from partners like MoMA, Art Basel, and Vogue. You even get 30 free rotating artworks each month, so you don’t need to pay extra to keep things fresh.
The Movingstyle lineup sits somewhere between a tablet, a monitor, and a TV. It’s part of a growing shift toward screens that adapt to your space, instead of demanding a space built around them.
You could start the morning using it in the kitchen for recipes, roll it to the office for work, and wheel it into the living room for movie night. It’s one display that fits more easily into how people actually live, not just how products are usually designed to stay still.
Both models are out now through Samsung’s website and select retailers.
