Last Call for Prime Day Deals: The 2025 Samsung Soundbar I’d Actually Buy Is Still 50% Off

We gave the Samsung HW-QS700F an Editor’s Choice Award—now it’s selling for the price of a mid-range bar.

Last Call for Prime Day Deals: The 2025 Samsung Soundbar I’d Actually Buy Is Still 50% Off

You know that feeling when you stumble onto a deal so good you start calculating how fast you can justify clicking “Buy Now”? That’s exactly what happened to me when I saw the Samsung HW-QS700F drop to $497.99—and even further to $349.97 if you’re OK with a slightly beat-up box. This is one of those “don’t think, just buy” moments if you’re looking to upgrade your TV audio.

Let me explain why.

A few months ago, our reviewer Andrew Burns spent serious time with the HW-QS700F and came away extremely impressed. In fact, we gave it the Editor’s Choice Award here at HomeTheaterReview because it offered something genuinely rare: a true Dolby Atmos soundbar experience under $700 that didn’t sound like a compromise.

The Samsung HW-QS700F sits in a sweet spot. It’s premium enough to deliver detailed, room-filling surround sound, but affordable and flexible enough for folks like me—people who want great home theater without installing ceiling speakers or paying $1,200+ for separates.

At first glance, it doesn’t scream “flagship” — it’s compact and unassuming, which I personally like. But under the hood, it’s loaded:

  • True 3.1.2-channel system with 8 built-in speakers
  • Up-firing drivers for Dolby Atmos & DTS:X height effects
  • Wireless subwoofer with surprisingly tight and deep bass
  • SpaceFit Sound Pro for room calibration
  • Q-Symphony support (syncs audio with Samsung TVs for a bigger soundstage)
  • Adaptive Sound Mode for clearer dialogue
  • HDMI eARC, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, and Apple AirPlay/Chromecast support
  • Convertible Fit Technology that adjusts speaker output depending on if it’s wall-mounted or placed on a stand

That last one really blew me away—there’s a built-in gyro sensor that tells the soundbar how it's positioned and adjusts the height-channel output accordingly. I tested it both ways and, honestly, it sounded great in either configuration. But it’s that kind of thoughtful design that gives it a serious edge.

When I first listened to the QS700F with some Atmos content on Disney+, I had to double check the price. The soundstage was wide, immersive, and dynamic—dialogue stayed locked to the screen, even as effects swirled around me. The bass wasn’t earth-shattering (it’s not a 10-inch sub or anything), but it was tight, punchy, and well-integrated.

Gaming also benefited from the fast response and clear directional cues, and music playback was warm and nicely detailed. It handled Spotify and Tidal Connect streams like a champ, and switching between devices was seamless thanks to the smart connectivity options.

During Prime Day, the HW-QS700F was a solid buy at its regular discounted price of $497.99 (down from the original $697.99). That’s already a 29% drop.

But here’s the kicker: you can now grab it for just $349.97 if you go with the warehouse model. The catch? The box may have some cosmetic damage from warehouse handling. That’s it. The soundbar itself is factory sealed, brand new, and still comes with the full manufacturer’s warranty.

For me, that’s a no-brainer. You’re saving nearly $350 off MSRP for what’s essentially a brand new product. Unless you're planning to gift it to someone and want the box looking pristine, this is one of the best audio upgrades you can make for the money.

If you’re like me and don’t care about some dents on cardboard, the warehouse deal is the one to go for. It’s practically unheard of to get this level of audio performance for under $400.

Who is it for?

  • Movie lovers who want real Dolby Atmos without a room full of gear
  • Samsung TV owners looking to unlock Q-Symphony
  • Apartment dwellers who want big sound without bugging the neighbors
  • Anyone upgrading from TV speakers or a basic 2.1 soundbar

Deals like this don’t stick around, especially warehouse models at a 50%+ discount. The Samsung HW-QS700F is one of the few soundbars I’d recommend without hesitation at full price—but now that it’s as low as $349.97, it’s honestly hard to pass up.

Whether you’re upgrading your living room setup, building a bedroom theater, or just tired of muddy TV speakers, this is the right tool for the job—and this is the time to grab it.
