Pocket-lint.com reports that LG will soon be making an official announcement about the future of its mobile 3D screen, which was on display at the CES 2011 show.
"3D mobile display is one technology that isn't 3-5 years down the road", says James Choi, marketing strategy and planning team director at LG Electronics global.

These comments suggest that this demo isn't just a Look What I Can Do presentation but something that is close to a reality. Which Choi goes on to almost completely confirm.
Choi said, "You'll be very surprised shortly, of an actual working 3D device from LG. I'll leave it there before I say too much."
LG had a 4.3-inch 3D display, which operates using glasses-free technology, that they showcased at CES 2011. The design of the product seems to suggest implementation in a mobile phone. According to Choi will have the answer very soon.
