Let's be honest. Nobody needs another flashlight. If you already carry an ArkPro, you already know how ridiculously useful it is. It has a spotlight, floodlight, UV light, laser pointer, multiple brightness levels...it's basically the Swiss Army knife of flashlights. So why would anyone buy another one?

Because this thing looks awesome.

The new Nebula Violet Edition may be my favorite ArkPro finish yet. Pictures don't really do it justice. The deep purple body mixed with lighter violet accents gives it a look that's somewhere between premium EDC gear and something straight out of science fiction. It's one of those flashlights you'll actually pull out just to show someone.

Build Quality

I've carried enough Olight products over the years to know what to expect, and the ArkPro continues to impress. Everything feels tight, solid, and well engineered. The pocket clip has just the right amount of tension, the buttons have a satisfying click, and the overall size disappears in your pocket until you need it. Then there's the finish.

Olight absolutely nailed it. It's colorful without being loud. It catches your eye without looking gimmicky, and it gives the ArkPro a personality that most flashlights simply don't have.

Still One of My Favorite EDC Lights

Thankfully, Olight didn't change what already worked. The ArkPro is still one of the most versatile flashlights I've carried. Need to light up a backyard? Done. Looking for something you dropped under your truck? Easy.

Checking hotel sheets with the UV light? Yep, it does that too...although sometimes ignorance really is bliss. The laser is also surprisingly handy for pointing things out during projects, presentations, or when explaining something to someone across the room. It's one of those products where you keep finding new reasons to use it.

Charging

One of my favorite upgrades to the newer ArkPro is the addition of USB-C. Don't get me wrong, I still like Olight's magnetic charging system, but having the option to grab any USB-C cable nearby just makes life easier. It's a small feature that makes a noticeable difference.

Who's It For?

If you've been thinking about buying an ArkPro, I'd have no problem recommending the Nebula Violet Edition. You get everything that makes the ArkPro great, wrapped in what I think is one of Olight's best finishes yet. Already own one?

Unless you're like me and enjoy collecting cool EDC gear, there's no practical reason to upgrade. But if this color speaks to you... Yeah, I completely understand.

Final Thoughts

The ArkPro Nebula Violet Edition doesn't introduce new features or more brightness, and honestly, it doesn't need to. The ArkPro was already an outstanding everyday carry flashlight. This version simply reminds us that tools can be functional and fun to carry. Sometimes that's all a special edition has to do.

And in this case, Olight absolutely got it right.
